homemade pizza

the best thing about making a pizza from scratch is being able to use whatever is in your refrigerator. it’s a great way to use leftover chicken or vegetables from that week.

i started with whole wheat dough that you can get at most grocery stores…

i had some amazing william-sonoma garlic marinara, so i used that as my pizza sauce…then layered with onion and mozzarella. in true form, i’ve been craving meat since i gave up all pork and cow for lent :(, so i used turkey bacon and garlic chicken sausage.

stick it in the oven for about 15 minutes…
