homemade brunch

i got kind of crazy with brunch this past week. the regular bacon, eggs, and grits or potatoes although delicious, becomes tiresome sometimes.

with a mission in mind, i browsed the food network, and of course mrs. paula deen came through for me with this recipe for a new take on breakfast pizza. there are a few steps, and you might think it sounds a little nuts, but i promise it is delish.

the recipe says to make pancakes from scratch-i definitely did not.

i used turkey bacon instead and low-fat sour cream...like it makes a difference with this recipe!

layer it up and then place it in the oven to heat through

finished breakfast pizza

im not the biggest OJ fan, so i made a poinsettia for myself: prosecco and cranberry juice
